Pim Visser, 26 years old, based in Utrecht
studied Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology before starting a Masters programme Scenography at HKU. Currently making performative work about unseen work of individuals that are essential to the success of cultural events, specifically theatre technicians. These performances try to balance technically fine tuned sets, cinematic aesthetics on stage with fourth wall breaks to make the audience aware of their presence in the space with the performer. Transparancy plays a big part in my work, I try not to hide anything about how my work works, the behind the scenes is always a part of what I want to show.
