This is a SOUNDMASK made for performance. It incorporates a Megaphone to allow the performer to adress the audience in an amplified way. As well as amplify prerecorded audio or music, this way the performer can become the source of sound and opens up the possibility of making it seem like the performer is speaking while they actually remain silent. The audience can start to associate any audio coming from the mask as the result of the performer speaking even if this is actually not the case, opening up dramaturgical narratives of machine - performer relationalities.
